Systembolaget, the state monopoly, manages about 60% of volumes, while the rest of the market is made up of sales on the Ho.Re.Ca channel and the tax free channel, managed by importers who, together with the numerous wine clubs, exert a strong influence on the tastes of the public and on the choices of the monopoly.<\/p>\n<p>The promotion consortium <strong>I Vini del Piemonte<\/strong>, which has been present on this market for a long time, is also planning a series of initiatives in the country for 2022: therefore, registrations are open for the fourth <strong>Barolo &amp; Friends Event<\/strong> in Stockholm scheduled for<strong> 23 May 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be held at <strong>Operaterrassen<\/strong>, on the second floor of the building that houses the Opera Hall, with large panoramic windows that offer a magnificent view of the Royal Palace and the Riksdag, the Swedish Parliament. It will be divided into a <strong>walk around tasting<\/strong>, with a trade session reserved for carefully invited professionals and representatives of Systembolaget the State Monopoly. The latter will be followed by a session dedicated to selected members of the wine clubs and selected wine lovers.
